The Andhra Pradesh government has officially published the final selection lists for AP MEGA DSC 2025, as announced by the School Education Department. The act involves filling 16,347 vacancies across the government, panchayat, municipal, tribal welfare, social welfare, and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Backward Classes Welfare departments. These also include opportunities in model schools, residential schools, schools for differently-abled students, and juvenile welfare educational institutions.
Application & Testing Phase
Applications were submitted online from 20 April to 15 May 2025. In total, about 3,36,300 candidates participated, submitting over 5,77,675 applications.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) was conducted from 6 June to 2 July 2025, under stringent security protocols.
The preliminary key was released on 5 July 2025, followed by a period (up to 12 July) during which candidates could file objections. These objections were reviewed by a specialist panel, and a final key was published on 1 August 2025.
Marks Adjustment & Categories
For candidates who raised concerns related to TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) scores, a correction window from 17 to 21 August 2025 was provided.
Because many candidates had multiple answer scripts (due to the large scale of the exam), a normalization process was applied.
The final merit lists were prepared using a weightage formula: 80% for DSC scores and 20% for TET scores, across all categories and managements.
Certificate Verification & Finalization
District-wise teams were formed to verify certificates of selected candidates. This took place from 28 August to 13 September 2025, carried out in seven rounds. Special attention was paid to verifying documents for categories such as hearing-impaired, orthopedically challenged, mentally retarded (MR), etc., with help from medical authorities.
After thorough verification, management-wise and post-wise final lists were prepared and released on 15 September 2025.
Accessing the Final Lists
The final selection lists are now available at the district educational officer’s office, the district collector’s office, and on the official MEGA DSC portal: apdsc.apcfss.in.
